3) Chew sugarless gum. Chewing on sugarless gum, especially one with Xylitol, can increase your flow of saliva. This washes away acids from your teeth that can lead to cavities. This is a good habit to get into after meals of you can’t brush.

2) Boost your calcium intake. Studies show that calcium can help re-mineralize your teeth and help in the prevention of cavities. Try snacking on calcium-rich foods such as yogurt and cheese. Cheese has been shown to increase calcium in the mouth after eating it, so say yes to cheddar!
